Welcome to the Cotillion Club of Lumberton.
We are Lumberton's Black Tie social dance club. This members-only club has its origins from War World II. As the soldiers came back home and other men of the area were looking for an event fit to take a lady, they established the Bachelors Club which later became the Cotillion Club. Originally the black tie events featured Big Bands. Now we have a mixture of live bands playing slow dance, beach music, line dance to rock and roll music. In other words a dance for everyone. The Holiday Ball in December is the highlight of the year when members can invite guests to an evening of dancing and fun.
