MEMBER IN GOOD STANDING
A member in good standing is:
- an adult gentleman
- who has significant contact (i.e. resided, works or has a business, etc.) and has an address within the zip code of Lumberton,
- generally contributes to the social and business community of Lumberton,
- attends at least 2 out of the 3 dances annually, and
- pays his dues timely.
Annual dues must be paid no later than February 15th of each year.
NEW MEMBER
Two Members are required to propose a new member using a form provided by the Club. It should be mailed, faxed or emailed to the address provided or given directly to a board member. The proposal should be submitted prior to the annual meeting date but may be brought to the meeting.
The new member being proposed must:
- Meet same conditions as a member in good standing paragraphs 1, 2 (Lumberton address for at least two years prior) and 3 (see above),
- Previously attended a Cotillion dance and
- Be someone that would be active and participate (dance) in the Club.
Upon being approved:
- Accept the invitation (complete & return form provided) with payment of the annual dues.
